Control Over a Packet Dropping Network with Norm Bounded Uncertainties

چکیده
In this paper, we consider a robust networked control problem. We consider linear unstable and uncertain discrete time plants with a network between the sensor and controller as well as between the controller and plant. We investigate the effect of data drop out in the form of packet losses and we focus on the tradeoff between packet arrival rate versus the uncertainties of the system dynamics. We show that the minimum packet arrival rate and the maximum uncertainty of the system dynamics have a positive correlation. Four distinct control schemes are explored and serve as examples to study this tradeoff. We derive sufficient condition for each scheme to ensure almost sure stability of the closed loop system. Simulation and examples are provided to assist the theory.

Local stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched system with non-vanishing uncertainties under a norm-bounded control input
Stability and stabilization of impulsive switched system have been considered in recent decades, but there are some issues that are not yet fully addressed such as actuator saturation. This paper deals with expo-nential stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched systems with different types of non-vanishing uncertainties under the norm-bounded control input. Due to the constraine...

Active Queue Management (AQM) plays an important role in the Internet congestion control. It tries to enhance congestion control, and to achieve tradeoff between bottleneck utilization and delay. متن کاملRobust H∞ Control of Networked Control Systems with Access Constraints and Packet Dropouts
We consider a class of networked control systems (NCSs) where the plant has time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainties, the network only provides a limited number of simultaneous accesses for the sensors and actuators, and the packet dropouts occur randomly in the network. For this class of NCSs with uncertainties and access constraints as well as packet dropouts, we derive sufficient co...

A class of networked control systems is investigated where the plant has time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainties, both the sensor-to-controller and controller-to-actuator channels implement multiple-packet transmission and experience random packet dropouts. Sufficient conditions for synthesis of robust stochastic stabilisation and design of robust H∞ controller are derived in the form...
